Here is the distributers writeup on the release: The Actors Pendantry: s/t 12" (Ampoule) Debut release on AMPOULE. A1 'House' Drums from 'Saturday Night, Sunday Morning' lead what seems to be a fairly straightforward dancefloor affair. Then things start to get a little weirder about a third of the way in. Reminiscent of the TZ series and Neuro releases R&S did around '92/'93. B1 'Feeling's Engine' A gorgeous excursion apparently in huge favour with Richie Hawtin. Sparse 4/4 percussion interplays with a steady 1/16th note early Black Dog/ART-ish sounding arpeggio and interspersed Detroit style pads and strings. B2 'The Chocolate Factory' A repetitive affair that dubs out towards the middle then gets clean again. Minimal drum programming, tech-y keys EQed heavy on the mids and an infrequent sub-bass skirt around the evolving effects. More experimental scapes are slowly brought in to finish off the track. Ampoule is the label that brought up the PUB : Luch 12" from a while back. My opinion, i'm enjoying this one now but i dont know if this one as the staying power of some of the other gems that have snuck out before the end of 99. -->-Lance--- lance@inaudible.com p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
